Inspired by Phileas Fogg

Phileas Fogg is the lead fictional character in the book ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ written by Jules Verne in 1873.

Phileas Fogg was an English gentleman who bet his entire fortune and reputation that he could circumnavigate the world within 80 days. Setting off from London with his trusted man servant on The Orient Express, his eventful journey around the world begins. Against the odds the pair are victorious using a variety of transport including an elephant!

In this spirit, The Global Party visits key cities around the world over the 15th and 16th of September 2011 allowing guests to join the world’s largest private party.

The Global Party... where will it take you?
